MEP Mr Demetris Papadakis visited our school and had a discussion entitled "The Schengen Agreement: An open window to unity and prosperity or to the flourishing of terrorism? Can our security be safeguarded?". The students and the teachers asked some interesting questions to the members of the European Parliament and he answered them with pleasure. After the discussion, the group travelled to the west part of Cyprus to a multicultural city, Limassol. The visit to the archaeological site of ancient Curium was breath-taking and the visit to the old castle and modern harbour colourful and relaxing. Finally, the students and the teachers headed to a traditional village to the rural area of Limassol called Lefkara and enjoyed traditional delicacies.
